The City of Melbourne has been using Vitavo for schools since the start of our 2023 school program, and in that short timeframe we have seen an increase in not only the number of consent card returning but also a higher rate of consent for ‘yes’ to immunisation.



We have increased our immunisation rates for schools by around 10-20% for the first visit in both year 7 and year 10 and have noticed that for year 7 we have had more parents’ consent to HPV in year 7 than other years. 



The platform has also assisted us in easily being able to organise a ‘mop-up’ of students who were absent at one of our biggest schools, and also gave easier opportunity to get more student consent cards back beforehand.

We found that we could accept consent cards during the sessions or even the morning of, without it being disruptive to our sessions.

Via Vitavo’s Client Portal, parents and legal guardians can:

  • Easily consent for one or more students in the School Immunisation Program
  • Provide all relevant student information to assess eligibility for national, state or private market vaccinations
  • Review pre-immunisation information and fact sheets
  • Provide digital informed consent
